Sample Prayer For Government Leaders

   Father, in Jesus' Name I pray for all the leaders of our country, our judges, and all those in authority. I ask You to protect them from evil and guide them in Your plan.

   Please surround them with people who give and receive good advice and do what is right in Your sight. Give them wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and guide them to judge righteous judgment and honor You.

   Father, give us public officials of integrity who are not swayed by ungodly pressure groups. May godly and capable people remain in authority, but the wicked and ungodly be removed. Father lift up people who lift You up and remove from authority those who have removed You from their lives.
